Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Eugene, OR is seeking a Driver Helper to assist Route Driver on tire pickups at retail locations. You will load and organize tires up to 50 lbs, follow routes, and support safe, efficient operations.

Requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a valid driver’s license with about 1 year of driving experience; background check and drug screening are required. Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform heavy manual labor.
• 1 year driving experience preferred.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Able to follow routes and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist Route Driver in pickups from retail locations.
• Load and stack tires onto the truck, keeping them organized and secure.
• Perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs as required.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed during loading/unloading.
• Assist with truck inspections and keep loading area clear.
• Communicate effectively with store staff and Route Driver for timely pickups.
• Follow established routes and schedules for tire collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment including the truck bed.
