Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Eugene, OR is seeking a Driver Helper to join a two-person route team. You will assist the Route Driver by collecting used tires from retail locations and loading them onto the truck, handling tires up to 50 lbs. You will follow established routes, maintain a safe, organized work area, communicate with store staff, and help inspect the truck. Experience in driving and a commitment to safety are valued for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform heavy manual labor.
• Able to work as part of a two-person team.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Must have at least 1 year driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Route Driver in picking up used tires from retail locations.
• Load and stack tires onto the truck.
• Perform heavy lifting and ensure tire organization and safety.
• Maintain safety and clean work environment around the truck bed.
• Communicate with store staff and Route Driver to ensure timely pickups.
• Follow established routes and schedules for tire collection.
