Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Driver Helper to join a two-person team with a Route Driver. You will help collect used tires from retail locations, loading them by hand onto the truck.

Tires can weigh up to 50 lbs; you will work on safety, stay on established routes, and assist with inspections and keeping the area organized. This regular full-time role includes benefits such as 401(k), health and vision insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.
• Able to work well with a Route Driver and store personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Route Driver in picking up used tires.
• Manually load and stack tires onto the truck.
• Load up to 50 lbs per tire and maintain organization.
• Follow routes and safety protocols.
• Keep loading area clean and report issues.
• Support Route Driver with navigation and customer interactions.
