Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Tire Retread Machine Operators to join our on‑site team. No experience is required as we train the right candidates for a fast‑paced environment that values safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect tires to determine retread condition
• Repair casings using proper procedures and correct size repair patch
• Operate buffing machine to remove existing treads and measure tread width
• Inspect finished retread using high‑pressure test machine to ensure casing integrity
• Receive and unload supplies including tread rubber, cushion gum and repair materials
• Assist in distribution center activities as assigned

Job Functions:

• Visually inspect tires to be retreaded to determine condition


• Repairs casings, if needed, utilizing proper procedures and correct size repair patch


• Operate buffing machine to remove existing treads from tires and measure tires to determine proper tread width


• Inspect finished retread utilizing multiple-step high-pressure test machine to ensure the integrity of the casing


• Receive and unload supplies including tread rubber, cushion gum and repair materials, envelopes, curing rim, tire casings, rims, etc.


• Assist in distribution center activities as assigned.
