Job summary

Pomp’s Tire Service, Inc. in Auburn, WA is hiring a Tire Mounting Technician to join our fast-paced shop. You will mount single, 3- and 5-piece wheels/tires and read customer drawings to ensure accurate assemblies while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

You’ll preassemble wheels, organize tires for the mounter, and maintain a clean, orderly work area. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional 100 pounds is expected, along with standing for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic tire/mounting knowledge is helpful.
• Ability to read and understand customer drawings.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Standing continuously during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Mount single, three, and five piece wheels/tires.
• Read and understand customer drawings.
• Preassembly of wheels and organization of wheels and tires for mounter.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
