Job summary

Pomp’s Tire Service in Omaha, NE is hiring a Tire Service Technician to mount wheels, read customer drawings, and prep tires. You’ll keep the work area clean and support the team with efficient tire mounting.

Ideal candidates have basic tire mounting knowledge, are comfortable using digital tools on the job, can lift up to 100 pounds, and communicate clearly with customers and coworkers. This role offers competitive pay and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Basic tire and tire mounting knowledge is helpful.
• Ability to use various digital tools, technologies, and programs to complete tasks efficiently.
• Required to talk and hear to communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Able to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and reach; frequent kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Mount single, two-, or five-piece wheels/tires.
• Read and understand customer drawings.
• Preassemble wheels and organize wheels and tires for mounting.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.

What You’ll Do:

• Mount single, three, and five piece wheels/tires
• Ability to read and understand customer drawings
• Preassembly of wheels and organization or wheels and tires for mounter
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor

What You Need:

• Basic tire and tire mounting knowledge helpful
• Knowledge and ability to use various digital tools, technologies, and programs to complete job tasks efficiently and effectively
• Required to talk and hear to use equipment and effectively communicate with internal and external customers and co-workers
• Regularly lift, upright, push, or move 50 pounds; occasionally upright, push, or move 100 pounds
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and reach without difficulty. Frequent kneeling and bending over and back
• Standing continuously throughout the shift
