Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and related tasks. You will also drive customers, pick up parts, and help maintain a clean shop environment.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits including paid time off, insurance, retirement plan, and tuition reimbursement. This role requires a valid license and availability on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Meets safety procedures and reports concerns to Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and orderly appearance.

Skills
