Main Street Auto in Gastonia, NC seeks a General Tire and Lube Technician to perform tire services, oil changes, and vehicle inspections. You will work a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, delivering quality service and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as tire and lube technician preferred.
• Proficient tire installation and oil change procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use shop equipment and maintain safety.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.

Responsabilités

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision.
• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify issues.
• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service questions.
• Adhere to safety protocols in the shop.
