Main Street Auto in Elkin, NC is seeking a General Tire and Lube Technician with no weekend shifts to join our fast-paced shop. You will perform tire rotations, installations, oil changes, filter replacements, and basic inspections while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Emissions certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as tire and lube technician preferred.
• Knowledge of tire installation, repair and oil change procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
• Excellent time management and customer service.
• Team player able to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues or safety concerns.
• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations, answering inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while working in a shop environment.
