Job summary

Main Street Auto in Georgia is seeking a General Tire and Lube Technician to join our team. You will perform tire rotations, installations, oil changes, and inspections with precision while delivering outstanding customer service.

We offer 7:00AM-6:00PM (Mon–Tue), weekends off, competitive weekly pay of $500-$1000, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and ongoing training in a friendly shop environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Emissions certification preferred.
Experience as tire and lube technician or similar role.
Knowledge of tire installation, repair techniques, and oil change procedures.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency.
Oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Basic vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues or safety concerns.
Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability.
Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
Assist customers with tire recommendations, answering inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service.
Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while working in a shop environment.
