Join the BIG O TIRES TEAM for 2026 We have immediate opportunities for experienced General Service Technicians in our San Jose South Bay Service Centers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Tire care, including mounting and dismounting, repairing/rotating/inflating, and installing new wheels
• Proficient at performing PM services and fluid exchanges
• Performing PM services: oil changes, coolant flush, transmission fluid exchange, and maintenance
• Calibrating TPMS
• Inventory stocking
• Testing and installing batteries
• Test-driving vehicles after maintenance

Qualifications (Required)

• At least 18+ years old with a valid driver's license
• Experience with mounting/balancing and repairing tires
• Able to perform oil changes and fluid exchanges with autos and light trucks
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed
• Reliable transportation to work
• Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to meet company requirements, including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check
