Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is hiring an Automotive Alignment Technician to join our Kendall center in a full-time role. You will use advanced alignment equipment to adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, helping vehicles travel straight and wear evenly.

Qualifications include being at least 18, legally eligible to work in the United States, and having 1 year of tire or wheel service experience; a state inspection license is preferred. On-the-job training is provided.

• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs.
• Support additional automotive service tasks as needed.

We're looking for full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Kendall, FL area. About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• to be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technician you must (1) be at least 18 years of age


• (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States


• (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position


• it is preferred that Automotive Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
