Job summary

Tire Kingdom is seeking an Automotive Alignment Technician in the Jupiter, FL area to join Team Mavis at Discount Prices. This full-time role focuses on aligning tires and wheels, measuring caster/camber/toe/thrust, and ensuring safe, straight travel for customers’ vehicles.

Technicians also perform state-mandated inspections, oil/filter changes, flat repairs and other routine services. The position offers on-the-job training, competitive weekly pay and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Eligibility: must be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• 1 year of experience/training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent training/experience

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles
• Perform state inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as needed
• Complete routine automotive services and repairs to customer vehicles
• Ensure vehicles travel straight and true after alignment
• Stand/walk/bend/reach and lift items weighing over 50 pounds as part of duties

We're looking for full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Jupiter, FL area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technician you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Automotive Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.

As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
