Job summary

Tire Kingdom and Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician in the Juno Beach, FL area. You will use advanced equipment to align tires and wheels, measure and adjust angles, and perform related maintenance services to ensure safe driving and optimal wear.

The role includes completing inspections, oil/filter changes, and tire repairs, with opportunities for paid time off, benefits, and career growth in a large national network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in mounting, dismounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent.
• State inspection license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate alignment equipment to align tires and wheels on customer vehicles, adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure straight travel.
• Perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as needed.
• Carry out other required automotive services or repairs to customer vehicles.

We're looking for full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Juno Beach, FL area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician

Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• 1) be at least 18 years of age
• 2) be legally authorized to work in the United States
• 3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
• state inspection license is preferred

• As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
