Job summary

Yokohama TWS in Charles City, IA, is seeking a reliable Material Handler to move and supply products in the tire building area. You will load materials into machines, unload deliveries, and prepare finished goods for shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Move materials or finished goods. Handle materials in a safe and orderly manner. Assist with the timely fulfilment and delivery of products.Key ResponsibilitiesLoad materials into tire building machinesHandle material, scrap, and wasteSort material and tiresLoad and unload incoming and outgoing material and productsMove material to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areasIdentify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventoryPrepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading themComply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelinesPerform general housekeeping and sanitation tasksSafely operate a forklift (following appropriate training)Move products in warehouses and manufacturing facilities, either manually or using equipment such as trucks or forklifts.
