Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician in Montgomery, IL. You will work to provide safe and efficient service in both sales and service areas, delivering value to members and collaborating with associates to meet expectations.

You will act as an expert on safety, tire and battery guidelines, and POS operations, while using digital tools to support sales and service. The role includes handling transactions, inventory, and customer support with integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Commitment to successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient service in sales and service areas.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, tire and battery guidelines, and POS systems.
• Assist customers with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
• Operate cash registers and complete paperwork and logs as required.
