Job summary

Sam’s Club in Wentzville, MO is hiring for a Full-time Tire & Battery Center associate. You’ll help maintain safety on the sales floor, assist members with tire and battery services, and support installations and service scheduling. Strong customer service and product knowledge are valued.

The role offers competitive hourly pay of $20–$28, plus benefits and opportunities to grow within the club. Shifts may vary and training is provided to deliver the best member experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Minimum qualifications: 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred qualifications: Auto service industry experience.
• Preferred qualifications: Retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facility and sales floor safety and standards per safety policies and procedures; handles forklift and hazardous material requirements; reports unsafe situations.
• Presents and maintains merchandise presentation; sets up, cleans, and prices displays; handles damaged goods.
• Monitors tire and battery orders; assists with installation appointments; communicates lead times and cancellations; assists with tire maintenance and repairs.
• Provides expert member service and recommendations using Sam’s Garage and product knowledge to advise on tire and battery products and warranties.
• Drives sales and service excellence in the Tire & Battery Center by promoting offerings and collaborating with club associates.
• Triages and prioritizes service workflow in TBC service bays; manages queue, estimates time, and revises priorities as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety, compliance, TPMS, product specs, and POS systems; uses handheld devices for planning and real-time decisions.
• Serves as brand advocate and mentors team members to deliver high-quality service and products.
• Operates POS systems; handles payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per policy.
• Complies with policies and Open Door Policy; participates in improving business processes.
