Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club in Wentzville, MO is hiring a Tire & Battery Center Technician to provide safe, efficient service in sales and service areas and to help members get more of what they love for less. You will work with teammates to meet member expectations and maintain high standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery guidelines, POS operation, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Complete all required trainings and assessments.
• Auto service industry or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to fulfill sales and service requests educating other associates on tools, tasks, resources and mentor new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards and equipment operations.
• Leverage handheld technology to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and elevate associate engagement.
• Communicate equipment, tools and supplies needs to leadership, track returns and special orders, and maintain inventory accuracy and safety compliance.
• Be a brand ambassador by delivering high quality service and assisting members with purchasing decisions.
• Respect the individual by fostering belonging and teamwork, and modeling integrity and accountability.
• Serve our customers by delivering results and making informed decisions that balance short- and long-term priorities.
