Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to provide safe, efficient service in sales and service areas, delivering value to members. You will collaborate with teammates to meet member expectations and contribute to a high-performing environment.

You will operate POS systems, follow safety protocols, and engage in hands-on service, inventory handling and customer interactions in a fast-paced retail setting at the Columbia, SC location.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
• Preferred: Auto service industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to fulfil sales and service requests and mentor others.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, tire and battery guidelines and service standards.
• Leverage handheld tools to plan and drive sales and improve service quality.
• Report safety hazards, inventory issues, and discrepancies; assist with checkouts and stock handling.
