Job summary

Walmart in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to provide safe, efficient service in both sales and service areas and help members get more of what they love for less. You will collaborate with teammates to meet member expectations and uphold store standards.

You’ll learn and apply safety protocols, tire and battery guidelines, and POS practices while growing your skills in customer service, teamwork and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Acknowledge that the position requires completing all trainings and assessments within a prescribed time if hired.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team to fulfil sales and service requests and mentor new technicians.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety/compliance protocols, tire and battery guidelines, TPMS, and POS procedures.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan, drive sales, and improve service with handheld systems.
• Be an Owner: Manage equipment, inventory, cash handling, paperwork, and identify member needs for purchases.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Uphold Walmart values, train others, and foster a respectful, inclusive team culture.
