Job summary

Walmart in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to deliver safe, efficient service in both sales and service areas and to assist members with purchases. You will collaborate with teammates to meet member expectations and mentor new technicians, while applying knowledge of safety, TPMS, tire and battery guidelines.

You will use handheld devices to plan work, drive sales, and enhance the service experience, and you will assist with inventory, transactions, and training

Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver's license.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educating others on tools and tasks and mentoring new technicians.
Demonstrates knowledge of safety, TPMS, tire/battery guidelines, service standards and equipment operations.
Leverages handheld digital tools to plan work, drive sales, improve service, and engage associates.
Manages equipment, inventory, returns and special orders; operates cash registers and processes transactions.
Acts as a brand ambassador upholding Walmart values and the Open Door Policy, supporting ethical practices and teamwork.
