Job summary

Walmart’s Tire & Battery Center is seeking a capable technician to provide safe and efficient service in both sales and service areas. This position will involve collaboration with team members to fulfill service requests, educate associates on tools and resources, and mentor new technicians as needed.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, knowledge of TPMS and battery technology, and hands-on use of handheld devices and POS systems to assist customers and manage inventory.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required trainings and assessments within the specified time frame.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient service in sales and service areas of the Tire & Battery Center.
• Collaborate with team members and educate others; support customer service and service requests.
• Utilize POS systems and handheld tools to plan, sell, and service driving decisions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, process transactions, and handle returns or special orders.
• Represent the Walmart brand with integrity and mentor junior technicians.
