Job summary

Sam's East, Inc. in Madison Heights, MI is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to provide safe, efficient service in both sales and service areas while helping members get more of what they love for less.

You will collaborate with associates to meet member expectations, apply safety and compliance protocols, and use POS systems to assist with purchases and service tasks, delivering great customer service every day.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Auto service industry experience (preferred).
• Retail experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educating others and mentoring new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery guidelines, service standards, and POS systems.
• Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales and improve the service experience.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, complete paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues to meet member expectations.
