Job summary

Walmart in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Tire and Battery Center Services Lead to supervise and develop a team delivering safe and efficient tire and battery services. You will model expertise and collaborate with other leaders to meet member expectations.

You will drive sales, uphold safety standards, and manage training, scheduling, and daily operations while maintaining a clean, safe work area and a strong focus on member service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 6 months supervisory experience or 6 months experience in automotive industry.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Acknowledges completing required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time if selected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Tire and Battery Center team to deliver the business plan and contribute to the club's success.
• Communicate department goals, set guidelines, ensure programs are followed and advocate for members, associates, and Walmart.
• Maintain knowledge of tire/battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, recalls, and product specs to ensure consistent daily execution.
• Leverage digital tools and training to drive sales, improve service, and engage associates.
• Drive operations, staffing, scheduling, inventory and paperwork to maintain safety, neatness, and compliance.
