Job summary

Amazon TIPM, Global Network Deployment (GND) seeks a technical infrastructure program manager to drive data center and network capacity deployment efficiencies. You will assess demand with available network resources, lead programs, and deliver scalable solutions across AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities include cross-team coordination, risk management, and driving data-driven process improvements while keeping customer experience central to delivery.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
  • Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
  • Experience in written and verbal communication with executives and non-technical leaders (preferred).

  • Work with stakeholders (vendor management/sourcing/planning & infrastructure delivery builders/senior management) to define requirements and processes.
  • Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs needed.
  • Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
  • End to end responsibility for the program's execution and success.
  • Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
  • Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
  • Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.

The AWS Global Network Deployment (GND) team is searching for a passionate and talented technical infrastructure program manager (TIPM) to drive Data Center and Network Capacity deployment efficiencies. You will assess the demand requirements along with available network resources to determine and drive prime solutions for our customers. You will work with stakeholders to complete pre-requisites necessary to deliver critical networking capacity. You will lead programs with goals to improve infrastructure resource utilization and availability. You will work with teams across the AWS Organization to effectively plan and deliver data center capacity.

Basic Qualifications
