Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking a mid- to senior-level Physical Design Engineer with a strong background in static timing analysis (STA). You will drive timing convergence across blocks and top-level designs, debug timing-flow issues, and partner with cross-functional teams through final signoff and tapeout.

The role is hybrid and based in Austin, TX, Fort Collins, CO, or Santa Clara, CA. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of STA, timing closure, and advanced-node design experience, plus skills in SDC

Qualifications

• 8+ years of STA and timing closure experience.
• Experience with constraints, clocking, CDC/RDC, derates, uncertainties, guardbanding, and signoff.
• Proficiency writing/debugging SDC constraints; ECOs and closure strategies.

Responsibilities

• Drive timing convergence across blocks and top-level designs; publish timing models.
• Analyze timing violations, develop and propagate fixes, debug timing-flow issues, and keep tapeout progressing.
• Develop and validate bottom-up constraints with Design and DFT teams; update methodologies and closure requirements.
• Use Python, Perl, and Tcl for automation and flow development; experience with SPICE, PNR, placement, CTS, routing, DFT, or AI-based automation is a plus.
