Job summary

National Ceramic Tile & Stone in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Estimator to lead pricing and bid strategy for the Las Vegas market. You will review drawings, prepare competitive bids, price materials, and manage relationships with GCs and vendors to keep a strong pipeline.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in estimating for tile/stone or related trades, read complex construction docs, and excel at coordination with project teams to ensure bids translate into on-budget projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years estimating experience in tile, stone, flooring or related construction trades.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs and construction docs.
• Strong math and analytical skills to catch errors.
• Closers mindset: follow up, win the job.
• Excellent communication with contractors, vendors and teams.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel/Bluebeam/Procore/Textura.
• Familiarity with the Nevada construction market is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and scopes to develop accurate material and labor takeoffs.
• Prepare competitive, profitable bids for residential and commercial clients.
• Source and price materials while negotiating favorable pricing.
• Build relationships with GCs, architects, designers, and property managers.
• Track bids, follow up, and convert quotes into contracts.
• Collaborate with project managers and crews to translate estimates to execution.
• Monitor market pricing trends and competitor activity in Las Vegas region.
• Maintain organized estimating records and CRM data.
