Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking a Part Time Sales associate in New Jersey to work in our showroom alongside designers, homeowners, and trade professionals. You will provide product recommendations to fit space, style, and budget, while building lasting relationships and exceeding customer expectations.

Candidates should understand installation basics and product usage to educate customers, and track personal sales goals.

Qualifications

Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations.
Open to learning and growing independently and from feedback.
Work well under high pressure, ability to multi task.
Detail oriented and highly organized.
Sense of Design: various styles, colors, and textures.
Basic mathematical and computer skills.
Ability to read, write, and speak in English.

Responsibilities

Work in our Showroom with Interior Designers, Home Owners, and Trade Professionals.
Provide recommendations to meet space, style, and cost requirements.
Build lasting relationships by exceeding customer expectations.
Understand installation and use of all products to educate customers
Understand and track established individual sales goals
Track store orders and provide customers with product updates
Present yourself in a professional manner at all times
Other duties as assigned
