Sir Grout Indianapolis is seeking a skilled Hard Surface Restoration Technician to join our team. You will restore tile and grout, deliver exceptional customer service, and perform minor repairs and sealing across residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during on-site visits.
• Tile and grout cleaning, repair, minor re-grouting, caulking, color sealing.
• Secondary services including stone countertop sealing.
• Operate service vehicle safely, use chemicals with PPE and follow safety rules.
• Process on-site payments and paperwork.
• Participate in business development activities as required.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals and PPE.
• Report safety concerns or injuries immediately.

Job Description

As a Tile and Grout Restoration Technician at Sir Grout, you will play a key role in restoring the beauty of tiled surfaces, providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Responsive and respectful interactions with our residential and commercial customers, focused on understanding and addressing their needs.
• Cleaning and Repair: Provide tile/grout cleaning, tile repair, minor re-grouting, caulking, color sealing, and minor repair services.
• Secondary Services: These may include residential stone countertop sealing, and applying coatings to all floors and surfaces.
• Safety Adherence: Safely and efficiently operate the service vehicle, utilize chemicals and maintain equipment, follow all safety regulations at all times including inspecting equipment, following all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards, and using the proper equipment for each job.
• Process Payments and Paperwork: On site payment and paperwork processing.
• Business Development Activities: Possible activities such as engaging in community events, networking opportunities, and provide occasional estimates as required.
• Inventory: Maintaining and reporting on accurate inventory of chemical products, PPE, etc.
• Reporting and Communication: Reporting all safety concerns or injuries immediately, clear communication to both customers and managers on any issues or questions on the work.

Requirements

• A Valid Drivers License
• Travel to Training: Travel to attend training as required (company covers expenses) and pass training exams.
• Enthusiasm for hands on work: Able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds for short periods of time.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
