Job summary

Sir Grout Indianapolis is seeking a hard surface restoration technician to restore tiled surfaces and deliver outstanding service to residential and commercial clients. You will perform tile and grout cleaning, minor repairs, sealing, and related tasks while traveling to job sites and following safety guidelines.

You should be detail-oriented, possess a valid driver’s license, and be motivated to learn advanced restoration skills through company training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial projects.
• Clean, repair, reseal, and caulk tile/grout; perform minor re-grouting and color sealing.
• Perform secondary services such as stone countertop sealing and coating applications.
• Operate service vehicle safely and maintain PPE and cleaning equipment.
• Process on-site payments and paperwork efficiently.
• Engage in community events or networking as required; provide estimates when needed.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals and PPE; report discrepancies.
• Communicate safety concerns and project questions clearly to customers and managers.

As a Tile and Grout Restoration Technician at Sir Grout, you will play a key role in restoring the beauty of tiled surfaces, providing exceptional service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities

• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Responsive and respectful interactions with our residential and commercial customers, focused on understanding and addressing their needs.
• Cleaning and Repair: Provide tile/grout cleaning, tile repair, minor re-grouting, caulking, color sealing, and minor repair services.
• Secondary Services: These may include residential stone countertop sealing, and applying coatings to all floors and surfaces.
• Safety Adherence: Safely and efficiently operate the service vehicle, utilize chemicals and maintain equipment, follow all safety regulations at all times including inspecting equipment, following all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards, and using the proper equipment for each job.
• Process Payments and Paperwork: On site payment and paperwork processing.
• Business Development Activities: Possible activities such as engaging in community events, networking opportunities, and provide occasional estimates as required.
• Inventory: Maintaining and reporting on accurate inventory of chemical products, PPE, etc.
• Reporting and Communication: Reporting all safety concerns or injuries immediately, clear communication to both customers and managers on any issues or questions on the work.

Requirements

• Travel to Training: Travel to attend training as required (company covers expenses) and pass training exams.
