Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, invites you to join our tile manufacturing team as a Glaze Line Operator on the B shift. You will operate and monitor glaze line equipment, follow the Quality Management System, stock materials, weigh and mix ingredients, and keep production records accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe and efficient operation of line equipment.
• Follows the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Stocks lines with needed materials.
• Weights and mixes ingredients as needed.
• Loads and unloads machines.
• Performs periodic checks on output.
• Creates samples and performs quality checks.
• Monitors equipment and reports issues to supervisor including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related issues.
• Maintains safety, quality, and productivity records for the area.
• Follows standard operating procedures and safe operating practices.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Supports a learning environment and helps develop other employees.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Hours: 6 AM - 6 PM (2-2-3 Schedule)

Job Duties:

• Ensures safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment.
• Follows the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Stocks lines/machines with needed materials.
• Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients.
• Load/unload machines.
• Performs periodic checks on output.
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related issues.
• Maintains documentation/records relative to safety, quality, and productivity for assigned area.
• Follows standard operating procedures and safe operating practices.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Supports a life-long learning environment, enhancing own skills as well as assisting in the development of other employees.
• Performs other related duties as required.
