Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC, a leading tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States, invites applicants to join our glaze line team in Tennessee. The Glaze Line Operator will operate and monitor the production line that applies glaze and other coatings to tile, ensuring safe, efficient production on the 6 AM-6 PM 2-2-3 schedule.

Main duties include loading materials, weighing and mixing ingredients, performing quality checks, keeping production records, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors the glaze line and coating application on tile.
• Follows safety procedures and quality management guidelines.
• Stocks lines/machines with needed materials and ingredients.
• Loads/unloads machines and transports materials as required.
• Performs periodic checks and maintains quality control samples.
• Maintains accurate records of safety, quality and productivity.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Glaze Line Operator to join our Manufactuirng TEAM! As the Gaze Line Operator we need someone to operate and monitor the production line that applies glaze and other surface coatings to tile.

Shift Hours: 6 AM-6PM (2-2-3 Schedule)

Primary Objective

• Ensures safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment.
• Follows the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Stocks lines/machines with needed materials.
• Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients.
• Load/unload machines.
• Performs periodic checks on output.
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related issues.
• Maintains documentation/records relative to safety, quality, and productivity for assigned area.
• Follows standard operating procedures and safe operating practices.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Supports a life-long learning environment, enhancing own skills as well as assisting in the development of other employees.
• Performs other related duties as required.
