Qualifications

• Requires a 4 year engineering degree.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or willingness to complete Green Belt and Black Belt training.

Responsibilities

• Understand and support SAFE, SMS, TPM, Lean Six Sigma, and Environmental efforts.
• Coordinate with 10-12 maintenance techs and 3 quality personnel over 1st–3rd shifts and help set priorities for mechanical/electrical work.
• Lead planning, setup, data collection, and data analysis for development trials and new product development in their area.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and operations teams.
• Develop maintenance instructions and optimize equipment settings.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, safety, and cost.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and perform root-cause analysis.
• Communicate progress and results of development efforts clearly.
