Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly-motivated program manager to join our TikTok Commerce Product team to support that growth and help us empower creators, connect people, and explore possibilities by building the next-generation Commerce platform together.

As a program manager, you will be challenged to undertake complicated and multi-disciplinary product projects driving the team to enhance the product iteration and bring order to ambiguity. You will be responsible for strategic cross-functional product planning, prioritization, execution and communication with key stakeholders. Meanwhile, you will learn and grow in a fast paced environment alongside talented teammates on TikTok Commerce team.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced program manager with a strong technical foundation and a goal to improving overall velocity. Also, you have had a deep experience in Product Development or Project Management field before. You are a bridge and a connector for the company. You are self-motivated, organized, insightful and productive. Relevant experience is important, but ultimately less than your demonstrated abilities and attitude.

What You\'ll Do

• Define strategy, roadmap, and drive execution for TikTok Commerce technical initiates and key projects.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate the strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes with a clear timeline by exercising technical judgment.
• Build effective and transparent communication channels to align and partner with internal as well as external stakeholders and delivery team.
• Work with cross-functional teams to continuously improve engineering efficiency and velocity.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project management with a technical background or product-forward role (Product Manager or Program Manager).
• Solid technical background and the ability to quickly understand technical designs, challenges and risks.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with strong leadership, who can develop and lead a new initiative from the ground up; thrive in ambiguity.
• Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management, trust building, and verbal/written communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience in e-commerce/ads/monetization/social media ideally with a large organic user base.

Job Information

For Pay Transparency: Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $104,712 - $192,534 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate\'s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
