Job summary

ROLR is seeking a hands-on Social Media Manager to own our organic presence on TikTok and Instagram from our New York office. You’ll translate brand storytelling into platform-native content, collaborating with Design, Product, and Engineering to produce AI-assisted, real‑time content around markets, sports, and culture.

You’ll drive strategy, scripting, production, and publishing, build influencer partnerships, and align paid and organic efforts into a single channel approach while ensuring

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing social media for a consumer brand, creator, or publisher account.
• Hands-on knowledge of TikTok and Instagram.
• Strong writing and understanding of internet culture.
• Portfolio demonstrating successful social content and audience engagement.
• Experience creating and publishing content under personal and organizational voices.
• Ability to work quickly around live events and cultural moments.
• Comfort operating in a regulated environment.
• Based in New York and working from our New York office.

Responsibilities

• Own social strategy and the editorial calendar for TikTok and Instagram.
• Champion AI-native workflows to translate brand narrative into social content.
• Create and publish planned and real-time short-form content around markets, sports, news, and cultural moments.
• Lead ideation, scripting, and production of short-form video.
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with our paid performance agency and coordinate between paid and organic.
• Monitor trends and identify opportunities for ROLR.
• Translate broader brand narrative into platform-native content within a regulated vocabulary.
• Develop processes for quick reactions while meeting compliance requirements.
• Test new formats and feed learnings into paid creative.
• Track engagement, follower growth, share of voice, and content performance; use data to improve strategy.
• Manage creator partners and channel specialists as the function grows.
