Job summary

Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club in Lehigh Acres, FL, is hiring a full-time Tiki Bar Bartender to craft beverages and create memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will work under Troon’s management, contributing to a premier club environment with an emphasis on service and professionalism.

The role requires knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and cocktail preparation, with 1–3 months of related experience and a high school diploma or GED.

  • Experience with restaurant POS systems (POSITOUCH and MICROS).
  • Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

  • Stock bar, mix and serve beverages; assist with cost control and inventory.
  • Assist in creating seasonal cocktails and menu development.
  • Maintain inventory control and coordinate with management for supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
  • Communicate guest requests to the Department Manager.
  • Handle opening/closing duties, including inventory and cash handling.
  • Operate the POS system for checks and cash transactions.
  • Review banquet schedules and cater events.
  • Serve meals when needed and support safe work practices.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Overview:

The Tiki Bar Bartender makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control, and maintain inventory records.
  • Assist department leaders with the creation of seasonal cocktails and the development of the menu.
  • Maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management.
  • Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, which include, but are not limited to, inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
  • Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize the Point-of-Sale system.
  • Review banquet schedule for changes, special events, and calendar updates.
  • Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
  • On occasion, serve meals to guests.
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g., POSITOUCH and MICROS).
Physical Demands:
  • Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands.
  • Regularly reaches with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, tastes, smells, and sits.
  • Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.
Certificates/Licenses:
  • SERV Safe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and current trends in the industry and marketplace.

Knowledge of cocktail recipes.

Professional and courteous demeanor.

Demonstrates a strong commitment to company values.

Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees, clients, and vendors.

Fluent in spoken, written, and comprehended English.

Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
