Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a skilled TIG welder to repair turbine subcomponents at our Sedalia, Missouri facility on the night shift. You will prepare areas, weld, and assemble components using pneumatic, electrical and hand tools.

The role requires experience with super-alloys, strict quality checks, and adherence to safety and inspection processes; reports to Repair Supervisor. Work location is Sedalia, MO with an emphasis on precision welding and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent plus 5 years TIG welding of super-alloys.
• Must pass GTAW weld test in 1G horizontal.
• Plate weld coupons are subject to CWI inspection and bend test.
• US work authorization required; sponsor not offered.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions.
• Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauge and measuring tape.
• Prep and weld common steels, alloys, joints and geometry.
• Manufacture jigs, chills, argon backups, etc. to do their job.
