LGG INDUSTRIAL in Houston, TX is seeking a Welder to prep and weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel using TIG per supervisor guidance. The role emphasizes safety, housekeeping, and adherence to procedures in a production setting.

You will read blueprints, set up welding cells, and work with a team to maintain quality and efficient production. The position requires 1 year of TIG welding experience and the ability to pass a TIG test within six weeks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED with relevant apprenticeship or production experience.
  • One year of TIG welding experience and ability to pass a TIG test within six weeks.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings for welding requirements.
  • Proficiency in basic math, measuring and converting fractions/decimals for fit-up.
  • Strong safety focus and adherence to 0-incidents culture.

Responsibilities

  • Weld steel, aluminum and stainless-steel components using TIG per blueprints.
  • Set up welding machines and follow Welding Procedure Specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and safe operating conditions.
  • Read blueprints, inspect work and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with team to maximize productivity and safety.
