Job summary

Staffmark Group in Dothan, AL is seeking a TIG Welder to join our team on a 6 AM to 4 PM schedule, Monday through Friday. You will fabricate and weld metal parts using TIG techniques and read blueprints to meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year welding and fitting experience.
• Proven TIG welding experience (must pass welding test).
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Experience with tack welding or fabrication of shop fixtures is a plus.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld metal components with TIG techniques.
• Set up and lay out jobs from blueprints/diagrams/fixtures.
• Inspect welds visually for quality vs. drawings.
• Follow safety rules and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with team to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
