QPS Employment Group in South Beloit, IL seeks an experienced TIG Welder specializing in GTAW welding of stainless steel and nickel alloys. The role requires fabrication of process piping or sheet metal systems and reading shop blueprints; candidates must be able to pass ASME IX 6G tests. P&ID drawings are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of TIG welding experience.
• Ability to pass ASME Section IX 6G qualification.
• Strong reading of shop blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with process piping or sheet metal fabrication preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and nickel alloy components.
• Fabricate process piping and sheet metal systems.
• Interpret and work from shop blueprints and technical drawings.
• Maintain quality standards in accordance with ASME Section IX specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to meet production goals.
