Job summary

Montana Precision Products is seeking a welding specialist to complete projects on time with emphasis on safety and quality. The role includes interpreting blueprints, setting up welds, and operating welding equipment in a high-precision environment in Montana.

The position offers 4x10 schedules with a 2nd shift and training on 1st shift. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift 25-45 lbs, with TIG welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and lay out jobs from blueprints.
  • Operate welding machines to trim, size, form, inspect and weld materials.
  • Weld in multiple positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead.
  • Inspect and maintain welding equipment.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.

Job Summary:
  • Complete welding projects on time while ensuring quality and safety.
Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts with a three-day weekend!
  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3 AM (10% pay differential!)
  • Initial Training on 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • U.S. person status required.
  • TIG welding experience preferred but not required.
