Job summary

Precise Metal Products in Phoenix seeks an experienced TIG Welder for 2nd shift to build high-precision aerospace components. You will perform precision TIG welding per MOT and blueprint specs, inspect materials, and ensure weld quality.

The role requires 5 years of aerospace TIG welding, ability to read weld symbols, use precision measuring tools, and pass a .030 thickness qualification. We offer competitive benefits and a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of TIG/Fusion welding experience in aerospace manufacturing.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to pass a welding qualification test on .030 material thickness.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong visual acuity (near 20/20, distance 20/30) with color discrimination.
  • Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precision TIG welding according to MOT and Blueprint specifications.
  • Inspect raw materials before welding to ensure quality standards.
  • Examine completed welds for compliance and workmanship.
  • Select the correct weld rods using color-coded identification.
  • Tag and report nonconforming parts to Quality Inspection.

What You'll Do

As a TIG Welder, you'll play a critical role in manufacturing high-quality aerospace components by:

  • Performing precision TIG welding according to MOT and Blueprint specifications
