Job summary

Super Radiator Coils is seeking a TIG Welding Fabricator for a second shift (Mon–Thu, 2:30 pm–1:00 am) with a $1.00/hr differential. You will read blueprints, set up jigs, and perform TIG welds on stainless and carbon steel per exact specs.

Responsibilities include layout, securing fixtures, material prep, and safekeeping of parts. A high school diploma or GED is required; welding credentials and experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow detailed instructions and complex blueprints.
• Hands-on skill operating common shop machinery and tools.
• Able to use a tape measure for accurate measurements.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer literacy and PPE/safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders and blueprints to assemble parts to exact specifications.
• Lay out weld locations and component positions using rules and templates.
• Set and secure jigs, fixtures, guides, and stops with precision tools.
• Perform high-quality TIG welds on stainless and carbon steel (1/16–1/2 inch).
• Troubleshoot and rework nonconforming welds to meet quality standards.
• Prep materials (grinding, cutting, drilling) for clean joins.
