Job summary

Nationwide Fab LLC in Northglenn, CO is hiring a full-time TIG welder for first shift. The role requires reading blueprints, setting up welding equipment, performing TIG welds, and inspecting weld quality.

You will prepare metal components, maintain tools, follow safety procedures, and work with a team to meet KPIs. A high school diploma and TIG experience or trade school are expected; overtime and occasional travel may happen.

Qualifications

• TIG welding experience and/or 1-2 years at trade school or in field.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read from drawings/templates.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to adapt and adjust plans to meet changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to understand welding requirements.
• Prepare metal components by cutting and cleaning surfaces before welding.
• Set up welding equipment including gas tanks, torches, and regulators.
• Perform the TIG welding technique.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Maintain clean work areas and attend safety meetings.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality, flexible to schedule changes.
• Collaborate with team and communicate status of work.
• Follow department quality standards and KPIs.
