Job summary

Randstad USA in Newark, Delaware is seeking a TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and offers first shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a pay rate of $26–$28 per hour.

Basic education required is High School, with at least 1 year of welding experience. Responsibilities include operating welding equipment, welding in multiple positions, and following SOPs. Overtime up to 10 hours per week may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of welding experience.
• Experience in TIG welding.
• Ability to work in teams and follow instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime up to 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment according to the operating manual.
• Weld horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Take constructive criticism and improve over time.
• Position and clamp parts together in fixtures.
• Work as a member of a team and take direction from supervisor/lead.
• Operator hoist and power lift stand.
• Follow standard operating procedures and/or work instructions exactly as written to produce a quality product.
• Fabricate components for use.
• Wear steel toe shoes.
• Working up to 10 hrs. of overtime per week.
