Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Welder 1st Class in Newark, NJ. You will fabricate, assemble, and repair components with precision, interpreting blueprints and drawings to meet exact tolerances.

This role requires skilled MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW welding while adhering to safety standards and maintaining equipment. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality, timely delivery, and continuous process improvement in a manufacturing/construction environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a certified welding training program or apprenticeship.
• Proven welding experience across MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Strong understanding of welding safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality welding using MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW on various metals.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings to meet specs.
• Inspect welded joints for defects and ensure compliance with standards and safety.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with team to plan and execute welding tasks on schedule.
