Job summary

Accentuate Staffing, assisting a sheet metal fabricator in Raleigh, NC, seeks a TIG Welder for a contract-hire role. Expect 7am-3:45pm, Monday-Friday, with responsibilities including welding stainless steel and aluminum, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality welds.

You will set up and operate TIG equipment, inspect welds, grind and finish parts, and uphold safety and organization in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous TIG welding experience, preferably in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Welding certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other sheet metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
• Grind, polish, and finish welded parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
• Work closely with the fabrication team to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
