Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer in Eastern North Carolina seeking a TIG Welder to join the team on a contract-hire basis. The workday runs 6:00am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday, with frequent Saturday overtime, focusing on TIG welding of stainless steel and aluminum components.

You will read blueprints, set up welding equipment, inspect welds for quality, and maintain a clean, safe work area while collaborating with the fabrication team to meet production schedules and quality

Qualifications

Previous TIG welding experience, preferably in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
Ability to use measuring tools and perform accurate layout work.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Welding certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other sheet metal components.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect finished welds to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
Grind, polish, and finish welded parts as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
Work closely with the fabrication team to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
