Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled TIG welder for cryogenic piping in a fast-paced fabrication shop and on-site projects in Nevada. You will read blueprints, perform precision welds, and uphold strict safety standards.

Minimum 2 years TIG welding experience with stainless steel, plus ability to pass certifications. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential to deliver high-quality cryogenic systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience, preferably pipe welding with stainless steel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TIG welding certifications.
• Strong understanding of welding processes, metallurgy, and stainless steel behavior.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel pipes used in cryogenic systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications.
• Ensure welds meet strict quality control and safety standards, particularly for cryogenic applications.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, including torches, gas systems, and other related tools.
• Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance with project requirements.
• Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during fabrication.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
