Job summary

Packless is seeking a skilled welder to contribute to daily production by reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and welding VAF components to spec. The role requires the ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision and to work safely within ISO and safety guidelines.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 lbs, communicate effectively, and adapt to overtime as needed to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• 3: Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Weld VAF body to maintain its position.
• Read and understand blueprints prior to starting each order.
• Measure and cut materials for each order.
• Check finished work against blueprints tolerances.
• Set up fixtures - weld, TIG VAFs into position.
• Follow production schedule with minimal supervision.
• Maintain daily production flow and meet drawing requirements.
• Operate forklifts safely to move items as needed.
• Move loads of material between processes.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
• Train and assist other personnel as needed.
• Work safely to meet quotas and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as needed.
